New Year, New Vintage POLO Explosion at METROPOLIS!
It’s almost 2026 and at METROPOLIS VINTAGE, that means it’s time to get ready for more of these collared classics! The Rugby, the lovable Polo Bear, oxford style, and more! Ralph Lauren didn’t invent the polo shirt — that was Jean René Lacoste – but what Lauren started in the late ‘60s as a necktie company ended up as a full-blown clothing empire, just look at the variety in our stock. By the ‘80s and ‘90s, Polo had become more than clothing — that little logo was collectible. The Polo Heads of the ‘90s turned Polo into a cultural cornerstone. They wore it big — transforming what was once merely preppy fare into something their own. The Polo section been consistently in demand for years here at Metropolis Vintage, and we’ve just got a big new shipment ready to go. If you want it, we’ll keep on hunting it down, stocking it, and watching it fly off the racks!

THE MANY COLORS OF COOGI at METROPOLIS VINTAGE
The one, the only—COOGI. Loud, lavish, legendary. With those three-dimensional knits, neon colors, and abstract patterns that feel almost musical — each one is basically wearable artwork. People collect COOGI because nothing else looks like it. Founded way back in 1969, the label was initially called CUGGI. The description “Cosby Sweater” has been bandied about for years but the COOGI sweaters were actually deemed too colorfully hardcore for use. Come on down and get a dose of color from the nubby, colorful, artfully sewn COOGI SWEATER.
